GYD 9,500 or US$45 for one year, the same for every .gy extension. Two and three-year terms cost less per year: GYD 18,000 / US$85 for two years and GYD 25,000 / US$120 for three.
How much is renewal?
GYD 10,500 or US$49 per year. We email you before it’s due, and you can renew in a few clicks from your Client Area.
Do short or one-letter names cost more?
Most names, including many short ones, cost the standard price. One-character names (like x.gy) are premium names at the registry and cost more. Ask us for a quote.
Can I move my domain to another registrar later?
Yes. Request your transfer code from your Client Area at any time. We don’t charge a fee to transfer out.
Who is Register.gy?
Register.gy is an independent accredited .gy registrar operated by Investigative Intelligence Solutions Inc. (IIS Inc.) in Guyana. The .gy Registry itself is run by the University of Guyana; accredited registrars like us register and manage domains for customers.
